What is stored today

• Theme preference — a single localStorage entry (amd-theme) remembering whether you chose the light or dark interface. It is never sent to a server.

That is the complete list. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no pixels.

What would change with advertising

Display advertising is the intended way to cover hosting costs. Before any ad script loads in a region where consent is required:

• A certified consent interface will appear, with reject as prominent as accept
• No advertising storage will be written until you choose
• Closing the banner will not be treated as consent
• Your choice will be stored and respected, and changeable at any time
• The vendors involved will be named at that point
• Consent will never be a condition of using the detector

Analytics

Any analytics used will be privacy-configured and aggregate. Analytics will never receive file names, file contents, local paths or detection results tied to an identity, as set out in the privacy policy.

Controlling storage

You can clear site data or block storage entirely in your browser settings. The detector continues to work with all storage blocked — the only loss is that your theme choice will not be remembered.
