1. The service

AI Music Detector provides a free, browser-based estimate of whether an audio recording shows characteristics associated with AI-generated music. It is provided as-is, without an account, and without charge.

2. Results are estimates, not proof

Every result is a probabilistic estimate produced by the model described on the methodology page. It is not forensic evidence, not an expert opinion and not proof of authorship. You must not present a result as a definitive determination of a track’s origin.

3. Your files

You must have the right to process any audio you analyse. Analysis transfers no ownership, licence or publishing right in either direction. Because processing happens in your browser, you retain your files at all times.

4. Prohibited uses

• Uploading unlawful content
• Using results to harass, defame or publicly accuse a person
• Using a result alone to drive an employment, academic, disciplinary, copyright or platform-enforcement decision
• Automated scraping, bulk querying or attempts to degrade the service
• Reverse-engineering the site to circumvent its intended use

5. Fair use of the service

The tool is free and unmetered for ordinary human use. If automated or abusive traffic threatens availability, we may apply proportionate technical limits. Any such limit will be described openly on the site; it will never be a prompt to pay or to create an account.

6. Availability

No uptime is guaranteed. The service may change, pause or end at any time. Operational notices appear on the status page.

7. Intellectual property

The site design, written content, brand and detector implementation belong to the operator. You keep all rights in your own audio. You may quote or link to our written material with attribution.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision taken on the basis of a detection result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
